Dr. Cobb is a Board Certified Otolaryngologist.

Dr. Cobb became a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngologic Allergy, and, although he is trained as a surgeon, Dr. Cobb has practiced only allergy for the past 16 years.

Dr. Cobb has been in private, solo practice in San Marcos, Texas for 23 years. He has been Chief of Surgery at Central Texas Medical Center and served on numerous committees. He was President of the Tri-County Medical Society and received their award for Excellence in Medical Journalism.

He is a member of the Texas Medical Association and is currently the Delegate to the TMA from Hays, Blanco, and Caldwell Counties. Dr. Cobb was the President-elect of the Pan American Allergy Society where he has served as a board member for several years.
